Happy Monday!
Since it is a Monday, the Christmas Market is CLOSED, but we have found plenty of indoor fun that is definitely open.

🏛️ National Museums (OPEN Monday!)
Monday is usually a "closed" day for museums, but for the holidays, they are OPEN and FREE for kids (17 & under) with the Canada Strong Pass.
Canadian Museum of Nature: Open 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
Canadian Museum of History: Open 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Highlight: The Children's Museum is included!
Canada Science and Technology Museum: Open 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Highlight: Check out the "Winter Wonders" demonstrations.
⛸️ Outdoor Skating
Rink of Dreams (City Hall): Open 9:00 AM – 11:00 PM.
Lansdowne Skating Court: Open 6:00 AM – 11:00 PM.
Note: The Market is closed today, so the rink will be much quieter—perfect for practicing with beginners.
💡 Parent Tips for Monday
Avoid the "Monday" Trap: Don't head to the Agriculture Museum (Farm) or Aviation Museum without checking—they often keep different holiday hours than the Nature/History museums. The three listed above are your safest bets for today.
Lego Strategy: The Beaverbrook event starts at 10:00 AM. It's a popular branch, so arriving a few minutes early helps you get a good spot at the building tables.
Traffic: With many people off work, the drive to the Science & Tech Museum (St. Laurent area) should be smooth. It's a great day to drive across town to a museum you don't usually visit.
