Jurassic Kingdom comes to Ottawa June 26

Did you know that when the first Triceratops fossil was discovered in 1887, paleontologists thought it belonged to an extinct giant bison?
It took several more excavations before scientists confirmed they'd found one of the most formidable plant-eaters in prehistoric history. This summer, Ottawa families can meet that Triceratops face to face.
Jurassic Kingdom returns to Canada on June 26, opening its 2026 tour at Wesley Clover
Parks in Nepean. The show runs through July 12 and features 40-plus life-size animatronic dinosaurs on a walk-through outdoor trail. Previous Canadian stops have drawn between 30,000 and 35,000 visitors per city.
Beyond the dinosaur trail, there's a full day's worth of activities for families: an archaeological dig pit where kids can unearth fossils, face painting, food vendors on site, and ride-on dinosaurs where parents can snap photos and make memories. It's a complete outing, not just a walk-through.
